'Il Matto' is the name for The Fool (The Madman) in an Italian tarot deck.
The sculpt really captures a great mix of playfulness and evilness that is sort of unsettling to have in the same character. This contradiction is what inspired the Impossible Triangle painted amid the cobblestones at his feet.
