Sandro del Prete

At first sight, this image of infinity has certain similarity to familiar shapes like a ring, a roller coaster, or a Möbius ribbon. If the lizards were to move in the same direction on a ring or a roller coaster, we would see them once from the front and once from behind. On a Möbius ribbon, each would walk upside down. But this figure is different: it is a Sandro Del-Prete's paradoxically twisted ring.
