Ham-SandwichI don't know, why author call this artwork "Escher's terrace", because it doesn't have any relations with M.C. Escher. This kind of construction was first used by Sandro del Prete in his artwork "Chessboard" (see at the top left), ant term 'terrace' was first used by David Macdonald, who created a photo montage "Terrace" based on del Prete's artwork.
