Joe Santana was born in 1963 in Mexico. He raised in Acapulco, where at age of 15 he started to paint his first paintings in oil. He experimented with different techniques and matherials. At the age of 17 he moved to San Diego, where he started to paint murals. After spending 13 years in San Diego, he decided to move to Oregon, where he reside 15 years already. Here he have established a good reputation in the art field. He have painted some murals for the city, schools and some resturants.
