"This work is again variation on the combination of impossible triangles. The horizon positioned within the picture, so that we can view this unrealisable stack of heavy blocks as whole. Magritte's painting of a pipe, under which he wrote, 'This is not a pipe' refers to the issue which has very often concerned the great masters - that a picture is only a depiction of an object or an idea and otherwise nothing more than a picture. To copy this and to clear up any uncertainties (or to confuse all the more?), I wrote that this is not a picture by Magritte..." /Jos de Mey/
