"This painting is an adaptation of a previous project entitled Wrong connection. The various beams of the cube-like structure are definitely 'wrongly' connected. It is fun trying to rearrange the connections, but you'll soon find out that you cannot do so without completely changing the whole object on which the impressibe owl is sitting. This is one of my few works where the motif is viewed from below. In general, all the objects in my paintings are viewed from above of partly from above and partly from below." /Jos de Mey/
